When you cash out with Zedkr Cash, your selected asset must be converted and routed into Base USDC before it can enter Peer’s non-custodial escrow for settlement.

Uniswap handles the asset conversion, while Relay handles the routing between Robinhood Chain and Base. The costs associated with these services are included in your cash-out quote and shown before you confirm the transaction.

What does Relay do?

Relay routes the converted funds from Robinhood Chain to Base, where they enter the cash-out settlement process as USDC.

The fee associated with this route appears in the confirmation screen as Bridge (Relay).

The Relay fee can vary depending on:

  • The available route
  • Network conditions
  • The amount being routed
  • The asset being converted

You do not need to pay the Relay fee separately. It is included in the quote and deducted from the amount being processed.

What does Uniswap do?

Zedkr Cash uses Uniswap to convert supported assets into the asset required for routing and settlement.

Supported assets include:

  • ETH
  • USDG
  • CASHCAT
  • LOCK

Uniswap calculates the conversion using available onchain liquidity and the current market price.

The final conversion result can be affected by:

  • The amount being converted
  • Available liquidity
  • Market price changes
  • Price impact
  • Slippage

Assets with lower liquidity may experience greater price impact or slippage than assets with deeper liquidity.

How can slippage affect the conversion?

Slippage is the difference between the expected conversion price and the price available when the transaction is completed.

For assets with limited liquidity, slippage can reach 15%. In extreme market conditions, the total cost of a cash-out, including the protocol fee, Relay fee and conversion effects, can reach 20%.

All estimated costs are displayed before you confirm the transaction.

If the estimated payout is lower than expected, you can close the confirmation screen without completing Slide to confirm.

Why does the conversion cost sometimes show $0?

The conversion line may show $0 when the quoted conversion cost rounds to zero or no separate conversion charge applies to the available route.

This does not mean that the exchange rate or available liquidity has no effect on the amount you receive. The quoted output still reflects the live conversion route and current market conditions.

Where can I see the costs?

Before completing Slide to confirm, review the confirmation screen.

The screen shows:

  • The asset and amount you are selling
  • Total fees
  • Net USDC
  • Your selected payout method
  • Your estimated fiat payout
  • The current market rate
  • The estimated matching time

The fee breakdown may include:

  • Conversion
  • Relay fee, displayed as Bridge (Relay)
  • Protocol fee
  • $ZED cashback

The protocol fee is separate from the Relay fee and Uniswap conversion costs.

Do I need extra funds for gas?

No. You only need to fund your Para wallet with the amount you want to sell.

Zedkr covers the gas required for the Zedkr Cash cash-out transaction. You do not need to keep an additional ETH balance in your Para wallet for cash-out gas.

If you transfer an asset into your Para wallet from another wallet, the sending wallet may require its own network fee. That transfer is separate from the Zedkr Cash transaction.

Is $ZED cashback deducted from the fees?

No. $ZED cashback is a separate reward and does not reduce the fees shown in your cash-out quote.

You earn $ZED cashback when you accept the quote and successfully complete Slide to confirm. The cashback is equal to 5% of the protocol fee.

You keep the $ZED cashback even if the cash-out is later cancelled because the protocol fee is not refunded.

You can claim your cashback from the Cashback tab and send it to your Para wallet.

Are these costs refunded if I cancel?

No. Fees and conversion costs are not refunded after you accept the quote and successfully complete Slide to confirm.

If the cash-out is eligible for cancellation, the recoverable funds are automatically returned to your Para wallet as USDG. Any $ZED cashback earned when you confirmed the transaction remains available to claim.

Does either Zedkr or Relay take custody of my funds?

No. Zedkr Cash is non-custodial.

Zedkr provides the interface used to create and track the cash-out. Your Para wallet authorizes the transaction, Uniswap performs the conversion and Relay routes the funds into Base USDC.

The Base USDC then enters Peer’s non-custodial escrow while a buyer sends the fiat payment directly to your selected payout account. Peer verifies the payment before releasing the USDC.

Zedkr never receives, holds or controls your crypto or fiat funds.

What should I check before confirming?

Before completing Slide to confirm, make sure you review:

  • The amount you are selling
  • The total fees
  • The net USDC
  • The market rate
  • The estimated payout
  • The payout currency
  • The payout method
  • Your payout details

Quotes are based on current market and routing conditions and may change if you return to the previous screen or request a new quote.

Do not confirm the cash-out if the fees, rate or estimated payout are not acceptable.
