Your estimate is based on:
- The asset and amount you are selling
- The conversion route available through Uniswap
- Available onchain liquidity
- The applicable fees
- The amount of USDC available after fees
- Your selected payout currency
- The current market rate between USDC and your payout currency
You can review the rate, fees and estimated payout before completing Slide to confirm.
How is the estimated payout calculated?
- The amount of USDC available after your asset is converted, routed and fees are deducted
- The current market rate between USDC and your selected fiat currency
The confirmation screen displays the first value as Net USDC.
Zedkr Cash then applies the displayed market rate to the net USDC amount to calculate your estimated fiat payout.
The basic calculation is:
Net USDC × fiat currency rate = estimated fiat payout
For example, if the confirmation screen shows:
- Net USDC: approximately 18.93 USDC
- Market rate: approximately 0.8581 EUR per USDC
The estimated payout would be approximately:
18.93 × 0.8581 = 16.25 EUR
The values displayed in your quote may include additional decimal places, so manually calculated totals can differ slightly because of rounding.
How is my asset converted?
Supported assets include:
- ETH
- USDG
- CASHCAT
- LOCK
The conversion route is based on the current market price and available liquidity for the asset.
The amount of USDC produced by the conversion can be affected by:
- Market movement
- Available liquidity
- Price impact
- Slippage
- The amount being converted
Relay then routes the converted funds from Robinhood Chain into Base USDC for settlement through Peer’s non-custodial escrow.
What exchange rate appears on the confirmation screen?
For example:
0.8581 EUR/USDC
This means that one USDC is worth approximately 0.8581 EUR at the time the quote is generated.
The market rate is separate from the asset conversion performed through Uniswap. The Uniswap conversion determines the USDC output, while the fiat market rate determines the estimated amount you may receive in your selected payout currency.
Is the displayed payout amount guaranteed?
Market rates can change between the time you review the quote and the time a buyer fills the order. The final exchange rate is based on the live rate available when the buyer fills the order.
Your cash-out remains open while the system matches it with a buyer and the buyer completes the fiat payment.
Once the order is settled, the completed fiat amount appears in your Zedkr Cash order details and in your selected payout app.
Why can the final amount differ from the estimate?
- Changes in the asset’s market price
- Changes in the USDC-to-fiat exchange rate
- Uniswap price impact or slippage
- Changes in available liquidity
- Changes in the available conversion or routing path
- Rounding
The estimate displayed during confirmation is based on the market and routing conditions available when the quote is created.
Does the payout app affect the exchange rate?
Zedkr Cash currently supports:
- Chime for USD
- Monzo for GBP
- Revolut for supported currencies
- Zelle for USD
The selected payout currency determines which fiat-to-USDC market rate is used. Buyer availability and matching times can also vary by payout method and currency.
Always confirm that you selected the correct payout app and currency before completing Slide to confirm.
Are fees included in the exchange rate?
The confirmation screen may display:
- Conversion
- Relay fee, displayed as Bridge (Relay)
- Protocol fee
- Total fees
- Net USDC
- Market rate
- Estimated fiat payout
- $ZED cashback
The estimated fiat payout is calculated using the net USDC remaining after the applicable fees are deducted.
$ZED cashback is a separate reward. It does not reduce the fees shown in the quote or increase the fiat payout.
How does liquidity affect the rate?
Assets with deeper liquidity generally experience less price impact when converted. Assets with limited liquidity can experience greater price impact and slippage.
For low-liquidity assets, slippage can reach 15%. In extreme market conditions, the total cost of a cash-out, including the protocol fee,
Relay fee and conversion effects, can reach 20%.
All estimated costs and the estimated payout are displayed before you confirm the transaction.
Can I reject the exchange rate?
Before completing Slide to confirm, review:
- The amount you are selling
- Total fees
- Net USDC
- The market rate
- The estimated fiat payout
- The payout currency
- Your payout details
If the rate, fees or estimated payout are not acceptable, close the confirmation screen without completing Slide to confirm.
Returning later or requesting another quote may produce a different rate because market and routing conditions can change.
Do I need additional funds for gas?
Zedkr covers the gas required for the Zedkr Cash cash-out transaction. You do not need to maintain an additional ETH balance in your Para wallet for cash-out gas.
If you send an asset to your Para wallet from another wallet, the sending wallet may require its own network fee. That transfer is separate from the Zedkr Cash transaction.
What should I do if the settled amount is incorrect?
If the buyer sends the wrong amount or uses the wrong currency, Peer may be unable to verify the payment correctly. The order may remain open while the issue is reviewed or until the correct payment is received.
Open chat support and send us a message with:
- Your Deposit ID
- The order status
- The asset and amount you sold
- Your selected payout app
- The expected payout amount and currency
- The amount and currency you received
- A screenshot of the payment, if available
Zedkr Support will help coordinate the issue with Peer.
