The total cost of a Zedkr Cash transaction can include a protocol fee, Relay fee, Uniswap conversion cost and token slippage.

Zedkr covers the gas required for the cash-out transaction. You do not need to hold additional ETH or another native asset in your Para wallet for cash-out gas.

All available fees and estimated costs are shown before you confirm.

What is included in the total cost?

Depending on the selected asset and route, the total cost may include:

  • Zedkr Cash protocol fee
  • Relay routing fee
  • Uniswap conversion cost
  • Token slippage

The confirmation screen displays the total fees and the net USDC deposited into Peer after these costs are deducted.

How is the protocol fee calculated?

The protocol fee depends on the USD value of the cash-out.

Cash-outs from $5 through $20

Cash-outs from $5.00 through $20.00 are charged a flat $1 protocol fee.

The Relay fee and any applicable Uniswap conversion cost or token slippage are added separately.

Cash-outs above $20

Cash-outs above $20.00 are charged a 3.9% protocol fee.

The Relay fee and any applicable Uniswap conversion cost or token slippage are added separately.

A cash-out of exactly $20 uses the $1 flat protocol fee. The percentage-based protocol fee begins above $20.

What is the Relay fee?

The Relay fee covers the routing required to deliver the conversion output as Base USDC.

The Relay fee depends on the route used for the transaction. It is separate from the Zedkr Cash protocol fee.

The amount is calculated as part of the live quote and included in the total fees displayed before confirmation.

What is the Uniswap conversion cost?

All supported asset conversions are routed through Uniswap.

The conversion cost depends on:

  • Asset being sold
  • Cash-out amount
  • Available liquidity
  • Current market conditions
  • Executable Uniswap route

The conversion line may show $0 when no additional conversion cost is required for the quoted route.

What is token slippage?

Token slippage is the difference between the expected conversion price and the price available when the trade is executed.

Assets with limited liquidity may experience higher slippage. In some cases, token slippage can reach 15%.

Because of this, the total customer fee can reach 20% in extreme market conditions.

Stablecoins and highly liquid assets will generally have lower slippage than tokens with limited liquidity. Always review the quote before confirming.

Does Zedkr charge gas fees?

No separate gas fee is charged to your Para wallet for the Zedkr Cash transaction.

Zedkr covers the gas required for the cash-out process. You only need to fund your Para wallet with the asset and amount you want to cash out.

A transfer from another wallet into your Para wallet is separate. The sending wallet may require or charge its own network fee for that funding transaction.

How are the fees deducted?

Applicable fees are deducted from the amount you select for the cash-out.

You do not need to send additional funds to pay the protocol fee, Relay fee or conversion cost separately.

The calculation follows this general structure:

From $5 through $20

Selected amount − $1 protocol fee − Relay fee − conversion costs and slippage = net USDC deposited into Peer

Above $20

Selected amount − 3.9% protocol fee − Relay fee − conversion costs and slippage = net USDC deposited into Peer

The fiat payout is then estimated using the available market rate for the selected payout currency.

What appears on the confirmation screen?

Before you authorize the transaction, the confirmation screen displays:

  • Asset and amount being sold
  • Total fees
  • Net USDC deposited into Peer
  • Payout method
  • Payout username or tag
  • Payout currency
  • Conversion cost
  • Relay fee
  • Protocol fee
  • Estimated $ZED cashback
  • Market rate
  • Estimated completion time
  • Approximate fiat payout

Review the entire breakdown before using Slide to confirm.

Is the displayed fiat payout final?

The fiat payout shown on the confirmation screen is approximate until a buyer fills the order.

Market rates and available liquidity can change. The final settled payout may differ from the original estimate.

You are not required to accept a quote. If the expected payout or total cost is not acceptable, close the confirmation screen without authorizing the cash-out.

How is $ZED cashback calculated?

Every cash-out that is accepted and confirmed earns $ZED cashback equal to 5% of the protocol fee.

Cashback is calculated from the protocol fee only. It is not calculated from the Relay fee, Uniswap conversion cost, token slippage or total cash-out amount.

For example, a cash-out with a $1 protocol fee earns cashback with a value equal to $0.05, paid in ZED.

The cashback is awarded when you accept the quote and successfully complete Slide to confirm. You do not need to wait for the cash-out to settle.

Once the cashback appears in the Cashback tab, you can claim it directly to your Para wallet.

If you later cancel the cash-out, the cashback remains yours because the protocol fee is not refunded.

How are the remaining protocol fees used?

After $ZED cashback and infrastructure coverage costs, the remaining protocol fee revenue is used to help fund stock airdrops for ZED holders.

The Relay fee and Uniswap conversion costs are paid to the services responsible for routing and conversion. They are not Zedkr protocol fee revenue.

Are fees refunded if I cancel?

No. Transaction fees are not refunded after cancellation.

If you successfully cancel an eligible cash-out, recovered funds are automatically returned to your Para wallet as USDG after the applicable fees have been deducted.

You still receive the $ZED cashback earned when you accepted and confirmed the cash-out. Cancelling the order does not remove or reverse the cashback.

Cancellation is temporarily unavailable while a matched buyer’s fiat payment is in progress.

How can I reduce conversion costs?

You may be able to reduce conversion costs by:

  • Using a stablecoin
  • Choosing an asset with greater liquidity
  • Reviewing the live quote before confirming
  • Avoiding a quote with unusually high slippage
  • Trying again later if market conditions are unfavorable

Zedkr Cash always displays the available fee breakdown and expected payout before you authorize the transaction.
