You earn the cashback when you accept the quote and successfully complete Slide to confirm. You do not need to wait for the cash-out to settle.
You also keep the cashback if the cash-out is later canceled because the protocol fee is not refunded.
When do I earn $ZED cashback?
- Select your payout app and currency.
- Enter your payout details.
- Choose a supported asset and cash-out amount.
- Review the quote and fee breakdown.
- Accept the quote.
- Successfully complete Slide to confirm.
The reward is created at confirmation. It does not depend on the order reaching Buyer matched — awaiting fiat or Settled.
If you close the confirmation screen without completing Slide to confirm, the cash-out does not begin and no cashback is earned.
How is the cashback calculated?
The calculation is:
Protocol fee × 5% = $ZED cashback value
For example, a cash-out with a $1 protocol fee earns:
$1 × 5% = $0.05 in $ZED cashback
The confirmation screen displays the estimated cashback before you authorize the transaction. The Cashback tab displays the available reward as an amount of ZED.
Is cashback based on the total fees?
It is not calculated from:
- Relay fee
- Uniswap conversion cost
- Price impact
- Token slippage
- Total combined cash-out cost
For example, if the quote shows a $1 protocol fee and an additional Relay fee, the cashback is still based only on the $1 protocol fee.
How does the protocol fee affect my cashback?
- $1 for cash-outs from $5 through $20
- 3.9% for cash-outs above $20
For cash-outs from $5 through $20, the $1 protocol fee produces $0.05 in $ZED cashback value.
For cash-outs above $20, the cashback is calculated as 5% of the 3.9% protocol fee.
The app displays the applicable protocol fee and estimated cashback before you confirm the transaction.
Does cashback reduce my cash-out fees?
It does not:
- Reduce the protocol fee
- Reduce the Relay fee
- Reduce conversion costs
- Increase the net USDC
- Increase the fiat payout
The complete fee breakdown and estimated cashback are displayed separately on the confirmation screen.
Do I need to wait for settlement?
You do not need to wait for:
- A buyer to accept the order
- The buyer to send fiat
- Peer to verify the payment
- The order to display Settled
You can check your available reward from the Cashback tab.
Do I keep the cashback if I cancel?
The protocol fee is charged when you confirm the cash-out and is not refunded after cancellation. Because the cashback is calculated from that protocol fee, the related reward remains available.
After a successful cancellation:
- Recovered funds are automatically returned to your Para wallet as USDG.
- Transaction fees are not refunded.
- Completed conversion effects are not reversed.
- Your earned $ZED cashback remains available to claim.
What if the buyer never completes the payment?
If the buyer does not pay before the payment window expires, the order status will update. The order may continue matching, or cancellation may become available again.
Your cashback remains available because it was earned when you successfully completed Slide to confirm.
Where can I find my cashback?
- Open Zedkr Cash.
- Sign in through Para.
- Select the Cashback tab.
- Review the displayed ZED balance.
The balance shows the amount of ZED currently available to claim.
How do I claim my cashback?
- Open the Cashback tab.
- Review your available ZED balance.
- Select Claim.
- Wait while the app displays Sending.
- Confirm that the ZED sent message appears.
The claimed ZED is sent directly to your Para wallet.
Where does the claimed ZED go?
You can view it by:
- Opening the Wallet tab.
- Selecting Portfolio.
- Looking for your ZED balance.
Make sure you are signed in with the email address associated with the Para wallet used for the cash-out.
Can I cash out ZED through Zedkr Cash?
The supported cash-out assets are:
- ETH
- USDG
- CASHCAT
- LOCK
These assets must be held on Robinhood Chain.
Do I need to add funds to receive cashback?
You only need to fund your Para wallet with the amount of the supported asset you want to cash out. Zedkr covers the gas required for the Zedkr Cash cash-out transaction.
A transfer from another wallet into your Para wallet is separate and may require a network fee from the sending wallet.
Why does the amount of ZED matter?
The Cashback tab shows the available amount of ZED, while the confirmation screen may show the estimated cashback value.
The market value of ZED can change. The number of tokens shown in your wallet should not be confused with the fiat value displayed during the cash-out confirmation.
What if my cashback does not appear?
- You successfully completed Slide to confirm.
- A Deposit ID was created.
- You are signed in to the correct Para wallet.
- You opened the Cashback tab.
- You refreshed the app or page.
- The reward was not already claimed.
Cashback does not require the cash-out to settle. A canceled or still-processing order can still have cashback available if the cash-out was successfully confirmed.
What if I selected Claim but did not receive ZED?
Then:
- Open the Wallet tab.
- Select Portfolio.
- Check your ZED balance.
- Confirm that you are viewing the correct Para wallet.
- Refresh the wallet balance.
- Review any relevant transaction information.
Do not repeatedly select Claim while a claim is still being processed.
When should I contact support?
- Your cashback does not appear after confirmation.
- The displayed cashback does not match 5% of the protocol fee.
- You selected Claim, but the ZED did not appear in your Para wallet.
- The claim remains in a sending state.
- You believe the cashback was connected to the wrong wallet.
Include:
- Deposit ID
- Public Para wallet address
- Protocol fee shown in the quote
- Expected $ZED cashback
- ZED balance displayed in the Cashback tab
- Whether you selected Claim
- Whether the ZED sent confirmation appeared
- Relevant transaction information
- A screenshot, if available
