Zedkr Cash uses Relay and Peer to complete different parts of the cash-out process.

Relay routes the converted funds from Robinhood Chain into Base USDC. Peer then places the Base USDC into non-custodial escrow while matching the order with a buyer and verifying the fiat payment.

These services help coordinate the transaction without Zedkr receiving, holding or controlling your cryptocurrency or fiat funds.

What does Relay do?

Relay handles the routing required to move the conversion output from Robinhood Chain into Base USDC.

During a cash-out:

  1. Your Para wallet authorizes the transaction.
  2. Uniswap converts the selected asset.
  3. Relay routes the conversion output into Base USDC.
  4. The Base USDC enters Peer’s non-custodial escrow.

The cost of Relay’s routing service appears on the confirmation screen as Bridge (Relay).

How does Relay help protect the transaction?

Relay provides the onchain route between the asset conversion and the Base USDC required for settlement.

The routing activity is recorded onchain and may include:

  • Token transfers
  • Smart-contract interactions
  • Transaction hashes
  • Source and destination networks
  • Transaction status
  • Amount routed

This creates a public blockchain record that can be used to verify the routing activity.

Relay does not create a Zedkr-controlled account or balance for you. Zedkr does not receive the funds before, during or after Relay routing.

What does Peer do?

Peer provides:

  • Non-custodial escrow
  • Buyer matching
  • Payout-information handling
  • Fiat payment verification
  • Cash-out settlement
  • Order-status information

After Relay completes the route, Base USDC enters Peer’s non-custodial escrow. Peer then looks for an eligible buyer who can send the required fiat amount through your selected payout app and currency.

How does Peer’s escrow protect the transaction?

Peer’s escrow holds the Base USDC during the buyer-matching and fiat-payment process.

The general settlement flow is:

  1. Base USDC enters Peer’s non-custodial escrow.
  2. Peer matches the order with an eligible buyer.
  3. The buyer receives the payment information required for the order.
  4. The buyer sends fiat directly to your payout account.
  5. Peer verifies the payment.
  6. Peer releases the escrowed USDC to the buyer.
  7. The order changes to Settled.

The buyer does not receive the escrowed USDC before Peer verifies the fiat payment.

Does Zedkr control Peer’s escrow?

No. Zedkr does not control Peer’s escrow or release the escrowed USDC.

Zedkr provides the interface used to create and monitor the cash-out. Peer handles the buyer-matching, escrow, payment-verification and settlement process.

Zedkr never receives, holds or controls the cryptocurrency or fiat funds involved in the cash-out.

How is the fiat payment sent?

The matched buyer sends fiat directly to the payout account you provided.

Supported payout apps include:

  • Chime
  • Monzo
  • Revolut
  • Zelle

Zedkr does not receive, hold, forward or control the fiat payment.

The payment may appear in your payout account as a transfer from the matched buyer rather than from Zedkr.

How does Peer verify the payment?

Peer checks whether the buyer sent the fiat payment required by the order.

The payment must match:

  • The expected fiat amount
  • The selected fiat currency
  • The payout information connected to the order

If Peer verifies the correct payment, it releases the escrowed USDC to the buyer and marks the order as Settled.

If the amount or currency is incorrect, Peer may be unable to verify the payment. The order may remain open while the issue is reviewed or until the correct payment is received.

What information does Peer receive?

Peer receives the information required to create, match and settle the order.

This may include:

  • Deposit ID
  • USDC deposited
  • Payout app
  • Payout currency
  • Expected fiat amount
  • Payout username, tag, email address or phone number
  • Current order status
  • Settlement information
  • Public blockchain transaction information

Peer provides the matched buyer with the information needed to send the correct fiat payment.

Does Zedkr see my payout information?

Zedkr does not see or store your payout username, tag, email address or phone number.

Your payout information is sent to Peer so the matched buyer can complete the fiat payment.

Zedkr can display the selected payout app, currency, amount and order status without storing your specific payout identifier.

Are payout details recorded onchain?

No. Your payout username, tag, email address or phone number is not included as public blockchain transaction data.

Public onchain information may include:

  • Wallet addresses
  • Token transfers
  • Transaction amounts
  • Transaction hashes
  • Smart-contract interactions
  • Transaction status
  • Date and time

Public blockchain information does not include the payout account password or private wallet credentials.

What happens while Peer is looking for a buyer?

The order may display:

  • awaiting-buyer
  • Processing

During these stages, Peer is looking for an eligible buyer who can complete the payment through the selected payout app and currency.

The time required depends on:

  • Available Peer buyer liquidity
  • Payout app
  • Payout currency
  • Cash-out amount
  • How quickly a buyer accepts the order

Zedkr Cash cash-outs take approximately 24 hours on average, but completion times are not guaranteed.

What happens after a buyer is matched?

When a buyer accepts the order, the status changes to Buyer matched — awaiting fiat.

The buyer then has a limited period to send the correct fiat amount and currency to your payout account.

Cancellation is temporarily unavailable while the buyer’s payment window is active. This prevents the escrowed funds from being withdrawn while the buyer may be sending fiat.

What happens if the buyer does not pay?

If the buyer does not complete the correct payment before the payment window expires, the order status will update.

Check the order details to see whether:

  • The order continues matching
  • Another buyer may be required
  • Cancellation has become available

Do not assume the order is complete unless it displays Settled and the correct fiat payment appears in your payout account.

What happens if the buyer sends the wrong amount or currency?

Peer may be unable to verify a payment that does not match the order.

The cash-out may remain open until:

  • The correct payment is received
  • The payment is reviewed
  • The buyer’s payment window expires
  • The order status changes

Open chat support and send us a message if the payment amount or currency is incorrect.

Do not return, convert or transfer the payment at the request of someone who contacts you outside official Zedkr Cash support.

How does cancellation protect my funds?

If cancellation is available, you can stop an eligible order and recover the remaining funds from Peer’s escrow.

To check:

  1. Open the History tab.
  2. Select the cash-out.
  3. Review the current status.
  4. Select Cancel or Cancel & withdraw USDC if the option appears.
  5. Follow the displayed instructions.

After a successful cancellation:

  • Recovered funds are automatically returned to your Para wallet as USDG.
  • Transaction fees are not refunded.
  • Completed conversion effects are not reversed.
  • The funds do not return as the asset you originally sold.
  • You keep the $ZED cashback earned when you completed Slide to confirm.

A settled order cannot be canceled.

Why is cancellation temporarily unavailable during payment?

Cancellation is unavailable while the order displays Buyer matched — awaiting fiat because a buyer’s payment is in progress.

Allowing the escrowed USDC to be withdrawn during the payment window could interfere with settlement after the buyer sends fiat.

If the payment window expires without settlement, check the order again to see whether cancellation has become available.

How can I track the transaction?

To monitor the order:

  1. Open Zedkr Cash.
  2. Select the History tab.
  3. Choose the cash-out.
  4. Review the current status.
  5. Select Refresh to check for an update.

The order details may display:

  • Expected payout
  • Current status
  • USDC deposited
  • Payout app
  • Payout currency
  • Date
  • Deposit ID

A yellow indicator represents an active or processing cash-out. A green indicator represents a settled cash-out.

Does Relay or Peer have my wallet credentials?

No. Relay and Peer do not need your private wallet credentials to route or settle the cash-out.

Never share:

  • Wallet recovery credentials
  • Private keys
  • Passwords
  • Email verification codes
  • Authentication codes

Your Para wallet authorizes the blockchain transaction before the funds enter the routing and escrow process.

Is separate Peer identity verification required?

Zedkr Cash does not require a separate Peer identity-verification step for the standard cash-out flow.

Your selected payout app may have its own identity, account or eligibility requirements. Those requirements are controlled by Chime, Monzo, Revolut or Zelle.

Never send identification documents to a buyer or through an unofficial support channel.

Do Relay and Peer remove all transaction risk?

No. Relay routing and Peer escrow do not make cash-outs risk-free.

Risks may include:

  • Smart-contract risk
  • Blockchain transaction failures
  • Relay routing failures or delays
  • Peer service interruptions
  • Limited buyer liquidity
  • Buyer-matching delays
  • Incorrect or delayed fiat payments
  • Incorrect payout information
  • Market-price changes
  • Token slippage
  • Third-party payout-app restrictions
  • Compromised wallet or email access

Review the quote, payout details and wallet authorization carefully before completing Slide to confirm.

What should I check before confirming?

Review:

  • Asset and amount being sold
  • Payout app
  • Payout identifier
  • Payout currency
  • Conversion cost
  • Relay fee
  • Protocol fee
  • Total fees
  • Net USDC
  • Market rate
  • Approximate fiat payout
  • Estimated completion time
  • Estimated $ZED cashback

Do not confirm the cash-out if any information is incorrect or unacceptable.

When should I contact Support?

  • Your asset balance changed but no order appears.
  • The order is significantly past its estimated time.
  • The status has not changed for an unusually long period.
  • A fiat payment has the wrong amount or currency.
  • The order displays Settled, but the payment is missing.
  • Cancellation completed, but recovered USDG is missing.

Include:

  • Deposit ID
  • Public Para wallet address
  • Current order status
  • Asset and amount sold
  • Payout app
  • Expected amount and currency
  • Amount and currency received, if any
  • Relevant transaction information
  • A screenshot with sensitive information redacted, if helpful

Never send your password, wallet recovery credentials, private keys or email verification codes. Zedkr Support will never ask for them.
