Last Update a month ago

Zedkr Cash is a non-custodial interface that lets eligible users cash out supported Robinhood Chain assets through Monzo, Zelle, Chime or Revolut.

It brings together Para, Uniswap, Relay and Peer to coordinate the different parts of the transaction. Zedkr simplifies the experience but never receives, holds or controls your cryptocurrency or fiat funds.

What problem does Zedkr Cash solve?

Cashing out an onchain asset can require several separate steps. A user may need to convert the asset, move it between networks, obtain a gas token, find an off-ramp and then transfer the fiat payment to a separate account.

Zedkr Cash combines these steps into one guided process.

You select the asset you want to sell, choose a supported payout app and review the complete quote before confirming. Zedkr covers the required gas costs, so you only need to fund your Para wallet with the amount you want to cash out.

How does Zedkr Cash work?

A Zedkr Cash transaction follows this general process:

  1. You sign in to your Para wallet.
  2. You fund the wallet with a supported Robinhood Chain asset.
  3. You choose a payout app and currency.
  4. You provide the payout information required by that app.
  5. You select the asset and amount you want to cash out.
  6. Zedkr Cash displays the estimated payout, market rate, fees, cashback and completion time.
  7. You authorize the transaction through your Para wallet.
  8. Uniswap handles the asset conversion.
  9. Relay routes the conversion output into Base USDC.
  10. The USDC is deposited into Peer’s non-custodial escrow.
  11. The order enters the buyer-matching process.
  12. Once a buyer accepts the order, the status changes to Buyer matched — awaiting fiat.
  13. The buyer sends the fiat payment directly to your payout account.
  14. Peer verifies the payment and releases the escrowed USDC to the buyer.
  15. The cash-out order is marked as Settled.

The exchange rate and fiat payout remain approximate until a buyer fills the order. All available estimates and costs are displayed before you confirm.

What does each service do?

Zedkr

Zedkr provides the interface that connects the different services and guides you through the cash-out process.

Zedkr does not receive your funds, control your wallet or take custody of the cryptocurrency or fiat involved in the transaction.

Para

Para provides the wallet used within Zedkr Cash. You can create or access your wallet by signing in with your email address and entering the verification code sent by Para.

Your supported Robinhood Chain assets are sent to this wallet before you begin the cash-out.

Uniswap

Uniswap handles the asset conversion used during the cash-out process.

Conversion costs and token slippage depend on the asset and its available liquidity.

Relay

Relay handles the routing required to convert the transaction output into Base USDC.

Zedkr covers the required gas costs, so you do not need to deposit additional ETH or another native asset for gas.

Peer

Peer coordinates the fiat-to-crypto settlement.

Base USDC is placed into Peer’s non-custodial escrow. Once an eligible buyer accepts the order, the status changes to Buyer matched — awaiting fiat.

The buyer then sends the required fiat payment directly to your selected payout account. Peer verifies the payment before releasing the escrowed USDC to the buyer.

Which assets are supported?

Zedkr Cash currently supports the following Robinhood Chain assets:

  • ETH
  • USDG
  • CASHCAT
  • LOCK

You can hold the asset in another wallet and transfer only the amount you want to cash out to your Para wallet.

Stablecoins and highly liquid assets will generally have lower conversion costs and less slippage than tokens with limited liquidity.

Which payout apps are supported?

Zedkr Cash currently supports:

  • Chime: USD
  • Monzo: GBP
  • Zelle: USD
  • Revolut: AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, MXN, NZD, SGD, TRY, USD and ZAR

Availability depends on whether the selected payout app and currency are supported in your region.

What information is required?

The required payout information depends on the app you select:

  • Chime: Your ChimeSign, including the $ symbol
  • Monzo: Your Monzo.me username
  • Revolut: Your Revtag
  • Zelle: The email address or US phone number enrolled with Zelle

This information is sent to Peer so the buyer can complete the payment. Zedkr does not see or store your payout information.

Always verify your payout details before confirming an order.

What are the fees?

The protocol fee depends on the value of the cash-out:

  • $5 through $20: $1 protocol fee plus the Relay fee
  • Above $20: 3.9% protocol fee plus the Relay fee

Conversion costs and token slippage may also apply. Assets with limited liquidity may have significantly higher slippage.

All applicable costs are included in the quote displayed before you confirm. Fees are deducted from the amount being sold, and Zedkr covers the required gas costs.

Does Zedkr Cash offer cashback?

Yes. Every cash-out that is accepted and confirmed earns $ZED cashback equal to 5% of the protocol fee.

The cashback is awarded when you accept the quote and successfully complete Slide to confirm. You do not need to wait for the cash-out to settle.

Once the cashback appears in the Cashback tab, you can claim it directly to your Para wallet.

If you later cancel the cash-out, the cashback remains yours because the protocol fee is not refunded.

How long does a cash-out take?

Cash-outs take approximately 24 hours on average, but this is not guaranteed.

The actual time depends on:

  • Cash-out amount
  • Payout app
  • Payout currency
  • Available Peer liquidity
  • How quickly an eligible buyer accepts the order

An estimated completion time is displayed before you confirm the cash-out.

Can a cash-out be cancelled?

A cash-out can only be cancelled while the cancellation option is available.

If an order is eligible for cancellation, open it from the History tab and select Cancel & withdraw USDC.

Cancellation is temporarily unavailable while the order displays Buyer matched — awaiting fiat because a buyer payment is in progress.

If the buyer’s payment window expires without settlement, return to the order details and check whether cancellation is available again. A settled order cannot be cancelled.

After a successful cancellation, recovered funds are automatically returned to your Para wallet as USDG. Transaction fees are not refunded.

You keep the $ZED cashback earned when you accepted and confirmed the cash-out.

Is Zedkr Cash available everywhere?

You may use Zedkr Cash anywhere the selected payout app and currency are supported, subject to the laws and restrictions that apply in your region.

Users must be at least 18 years old.

Is Zedkr Cash a bank or custodian?

No. Zedkr Cash is a user interface for accessing the underlying services involved in the cash-out process.

Zedkr is not a bank and does not take custody of your funds. Cryptocurrency remains under wallet or smart-contract control, while fiat payments are handled through Peer and the selected payout app.
