When you successfully cancel an eligible Zedkr Cash order, the recoverable funds are automatically returned to your Para wallet as USDG.

You do not need to provide another wallet address or arrange a separate withdrawal. Follow any instructions displayed during cancellation, remain signed in through Para and wait for the recovered USDG to appear in your wallet.

What is automatic fund recovery?

Automatic fund recovery is the process that returns the recoverable value from a canceled cash-out to the Para wallet that authorized the original transaction.

The funds return as USDG because the asset you originally sold was already converted during the cash-out process.

For example, if you originally sold ETH, CASHCAT or LOCK, the recovered funds will still return as USDG.

How does fund recovery work?

A Zedkr Cash transaction follows this general process:

  1. You authorize the cash-out through your Para wallet.
  2. Uniswap converts the selected asset.
  3. Relay routes the conversion output into Base USDC.
  4. The Base USDC enters Peer’s non-custodial escrow.
  5. The order begins waiting for an eligible buyer.
  6. You cancel the order while cancellation is available.
  7. The recovery process withdraws the available funds from escrow.
  8. The recovered value is automatically returned to your Para wallet as USDG.

Zedkr provides the interface that coordinates the process but never receives, holds or controls your cryptocurrency or fiat funds.

How do I start fund recovery?

Fund recovery begins when you successfully cancel an eligible cash-out.

To cancel an eligible order:

  1. Sign in to Zedkr Cash using the email address associated with your Para wallet.
  2. Open the History tab.
  3. Select the cash-out order.
  4. Review the status and Deposit ID.
  5. Select Cancel or Cancel & withdraw USDC.
  6. Follow the displayed instructions.
  7. Wait for the recovered USDG to appear in your Para wallet.

Do not repeatedly select the cancellation button while the request is being processed.

When is fund recovery available?

Fund recovery is available only when the cash-out can be canceled.

An order may initially display:

  • awaiting-buyer
  • Processing

If the order is eligible, its details will display Cancel or Cancel & withdraw USDC.

The order status alone does not guarantee that cancellation is available. Check the order details for the cancellation button.

Why is recovery unavailable while a buyer is paying?

When a buyer accepts the order, the status changes to Buyer matched — awaiting fiat.

The buyer then has a limited period to send the correct fiat amount and currency to your payout account.

Cancellation and fund recovery are temporarily unavailable while the buyer’s payment window is active. This prevents the escrowed funds from being withdrawn while the buyer may be sending fiat.

If the payment window expires without settlement, the order status will update. Check the order again to see whether it continues matching or cancellation has become available.

Can funds be recovered after settlement?

No. A cash-out displaying Settled has been completed and cannot be canceled.

When an order is settled:

  • The buyer has sent the fiat payment.
  • Peer has verified the payment.
  • The escrowed USDC has been released to the buyer.
  • The cash-out has been completed.

If the order displays Settled but the fiat payment is missing or incorrect, open chat support and send us a message.

Why does the button say Cancel & withdraw USDC?

The order details may display Cancel & withdraw USDC because the funds held in Peer’s escrow are Base USDC.

Selecting the button starts the cancellation and withdrawal process. The recovered value is then automatically returned to your Para wallet as USDG.

You do not need to manually convert the recovered USDC or enter a receiving address.

Why are the funds returned as USDG?

The asset you originally sold was converted through Uniswap before the funds were routed into Base USDC and deposited into Peer’s escrow.

Canceling the order does not reverse that completed conversion. The recovery process therefore returns the recoverable value as USDG rather than restoring the original asset.

If you want to hold a different asset after recovery, you must arrange that separately after the USDG appears in your wallet.

How much USDG will be returned?

The amount returned is based on the recoverable funds remaining after completed transaction steps and applicable costs.

The recovered amount may reflect:

  • Protocol fee
  • Relay fee
  • Uniswap conversion cost
  • Price impact
  • Token slippage

Transaction fees are not refunded, and completed conversion effects cannot be reversed.

The recovered USDG amount may therefore be lower than the original value or quantity of the asset you sold.

Are fees refunded during recovery?

No. Transaction fees are not refunded when an order is canceled.

The asset conversion, Relay routing and deposit into Peer’s escrow may already have been completed before cancellation became available.

The recovery process returns the remaining recoverable funds. It does not reverse completed blockchain transactions or restore previously applied costs.

Do I keep my $ZED cashback?

Yes. You keep the $ZED cashback earned when you accepted the quote and successfully completed Slide to confirm.

Cashback is awarded at confirmation and does not require the cash-out to settle. Because the protocol fee is not refunded after cancellation, the related cashback remains available.

Your cashback equals 5% of the protocol fee.

To claim it:

  1. Open the Cashback tab.
  2. Review your available ZED balance.
  3. Select Claim.
  4. Wait for the ZED sent confirmation.

The claimed ZED is sent directly to your Para wallet.

Do I need to provide another wallet address?

No. Recovered funds are automatically returned to the Para wallet that authorized the original cash-out.

Never send a wallet address to someone who contacts you privately and claims that it is required to release recovered funds.

Zedkr Support will never ask you to transfer funds to activate, verify or unlock the recovery process.

Do I need additional funds for recovery?

You only need to fund your Para wallet with the amount you originally want to cash out.

Zedkr covers the gas required for transactions completed through the Zedkr Cash cash-out flow. You do not need to add extra ETH or another native asset for cash-out gas.

Applicable fees are deducted from the amount selected for the cash-out. You do not need to transfer additional funds to pay the protocol, Relay or conversion costs separately.

A transfer from another wallet into your Para wallet is a separate transaction. The sending wallet may require its own network fee for that transfer.

Where can I find the recovered USDG?

After the cancellation is completed:

  1. Remain signed in through the Para wallet associated with the cash-out.
  2. Open the Wallet tab.
  3. Review your wallet balance or portfolio.
  4. Look for USDG.
  5. Refresh the balance if necessary.

You can also open the History tab and review the canceled cash-out.

What if the recovered USDG does not appear?

If the cancellation has completed but the recovered USDG does not appear:

  1. Confirm that you are signed in with the correct email address.
  2. Verify that you are viewing the Para wallet that authorized the cash-out.
  3. Refresh your wallet balance.
  4. Open the order from the History tab.
  5. Check the current order status.
  6. Copy the Deposit ID.
  7. Open chat support and send us a message.

Do not create another cash-out or repeatedly submit the cancellation while the recovery is still being processed.

What should I include when contacting support?

Include:

  • Deposit ID
  • Public Para wallet address
  • Current order status
  • Asset and amount originally sold
  • Original net USDC amount
  • Recovered USDG amount, if any
  • Date of the cancellation
  • Relevant transaction information
  • A screenshot of the order details, if available

Zedkr Support can review the order and coordinate with the relevant service provider when necessary.

Never send your password, wallet recovery credentials, private keys or email verification codes. Zedkr Support will never ask for them.
