- The gift card price set by Cryptorefills
- The Zedkr fee
The checkout screen displays the complete total and the estimated amount of your selected payment asset before you complete Slide to confirm.
Zedkr covers the blockchain gas required for the gift card transaction. You do not need to hold additional native ETH for gas.
What is the gift card value?
For example, a $5 gift card provides $5 of redeemable value, subject to the issuing brand’s terms, country and regional restrictions.
The gift card value is not always the same as the amount you pay.
Who sets the gift card price?
The price may include:
- The gift card value
- The provider’s exchange rate
- Cryptorefills processing costs
These provider costs are included in the Gift card price shown at checkout. They are not Zedkr fees and are not retained by Zedkr.
The price can differ from the gift card’s redeemable value.
How is the total calculated?
Cryptorefills gift card price + Zedkr fee = total purchase amount
The checkout screen then calculates the estimated amount of ETH, USDG, CASHCAT or LOCK required to pay that total.
What is the Zedkr fee?
- For purchases up to and including $20, the Zedkr fee is $1.
- For purchases over $20, the Zedkr fee is 3.9%.
The applicable fee is displayed before you authorize the transaction.
Gift card pricing example
- Gift card value: $5
- Gift card price set by Cryptorefills: $5.97
- Zedkr fee: $1
- Total: $6.97
In this example:
- The gift card provides $5 of redeemable value.
- The $5.97 gift card price includes Cryptorefills pricing.
- The additional $1 is the Zedkr fee.
- The complete amount paid is $6.97.
This is an example only. Provider pricing and the required payment-asset amount can change.
Why can the gift card price be higher than its value?
The difference is not automatically a Zedkr fee.
Review these separate amounts at checkout:
- Gift card value
- Gift card price
- Zedkr fee
- Total
Do not complete Slide to confirm unless the displayed total is acceptable.
Does my payment asset affect the price?
Your selected payment asset determines how much ETH, USDG, CASHCAT or LOCK is required to cover the displayed total.
The crypto amount can change based on:
- The current market value of the selected asset
- Changes in the provider price
- The time between preparing and confirming the transaction
- The applicable Zedkr fee
Review the payment-asset amount immediately before confirming.
Which assets can I use?
- ETH
- USDG
- CASHCAT
- LOCK
The asset must be held in your Para wallet on Robinhood Chain.
Are gas fees added to the total?
Zedkr covers the blockchain gas, so you do not need to maintain an additional native ETH balance when paying with USDG, CASHCAT or LOCK.
You only need enough of your selected payment asset to cover the total displayed at checkout.
If you transfer funds into your Para wallet from another wallet, the sending wallet may charge its own network fee. That transfer is separate from the Zedkr Cash gift card transaction.
Are all costs shown before confirmation?
- Gift card brand
- Gift card value
- Country or region
- Cryptorefills gift card price
- Zedkr fee
- Total purchase amount
- Selected payment asset
- Estimated amount of the selected asset
- Delivery email
You are not required to confirm the purchase.
If the price, fee or total is not acceptable, close the checkout screen without completing Slide to confirm.
Can the price change before I confirm?
If the displayed price or asset amount changes before confirmation, review the updated total carefully.
Once you successfully complete Slide to confirm and the payment succeeds, the purchase is processed automatically.
Does the gift card denomination affect the fee?
A purchase up to and including $20 has a $1 Zedkr fee. A purchase over $20 has a 3.9% Zedkr fee.
Each gift card may have its own:
- Fixed denominations
- Minimum amount
- Maximum amount
- Country restrictions
- Provider price
The product screen displays the amounts available for that gift card.
How is $ZED cashback calculated?
The calculation is:
Zedkr fee × 5% = $ZED cashback value
For example, if the Zedkr fee is $1:
$1 × 5% = $0.05 in $ZED cashback value
Cashback is calculated from the Zedkr fee only. It is not calculated from:
- The gift card value
- The Cryptorefills gift card price
- Cryptorefills exchange-rate or processing costs
- The complete checkout total
The cashback becomes available immediately after the gift card transaction succeeds.
How do I claim the cashback?
- Open the Cashback tab.
- Review your available ZED balance.
- Select Claim.
- Wait for the ZED sent confirmation.
The claimed ZED is sent directly to your Para wallet.
The claiming process is the same for gift card and cash-out cashback.
What happens to the fees if the purchase fails?
The returned funds do not come back as the asset originally used for payment.
A failed gift card purchase does not earn $ZED cashback.
Are fees refunded if I change my mind?
You cannot cancel a successful order simply because you changed your mind. Delivered gift cards are generally non-refundable unless Cryptorefills determines that an exception applies.
Always check the brand, value, country, region, price, fee and delivery email before completing Slide to confirm.
What if the displayed total appears incorrect?
If you already confirmed the transaction, open the History tab and check whether the gift card order appears.
